Sailing, kayaking, reading, writing, walking, wondering wanderer.
I am a liveaboard, single-handed sailor that has difficulty living in one locale for more than a couple of years. To survive, I have been a naval officer, electrical engineer, software developer, entrepreneur, and more. While living aboard Sun Po in Hawaii and occasionally anchored off Molokai and Maui I wrote Molokai Reef. Although not my first novel, it is the first that I have published.
Sun Po and I have sailed Chesapeake Bay, San Francisco Bay, across to Hawaii, and around the Hawaiian Islands.
I live aboard my current boat, Ferrity, on the Chesapeake Bay - for now where I am nearing completion of my next novel, a political suspense based upon current events.
